Terms & Conditions
Clear Occasion - Terms & Conditions
1. Our Service
Clear Occasion (“we”, “us”, “our”) connects Guests with Venues for celebration bookings. We act as an introducer and do not organise, manage or host events. All bookings are agreed directly between the Guest and Venue.
2. Venue Responsibilities
The Venue agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date information and is responsible for responding to enquiries, confirming bookings and delivering the agreed services.
3. Commission & Payment
Clear Occasion charges 10% commission on each Clear Occasion Booking, with no upfront fees.
A “Clear Occasion Booking” means a booking introduced by Clear Occasion that is confirmed and subsequently takes place.
Commission is calculated on the agreed booking value generated through Clear Occasion, excluding additional spend made directly by the Guest at the Venue that was not part of the original booking.
If a confirmed booking is subsequently cancelled and the Venue charges the Guest a cancellation fee, the 10% commission will apply to the cancellation fee received by the Venue.
Clear Occasion will invoice following completion of the booking. Payment is due within 14 days.
4. No Circumvention
Venues agree not to bypass Clear Occasion to avoid commission. If a Guest introduced through Clear Occasion subsequently books directly with the Venue for the same or substantially similar event, the 10% commission remains payable.
5. Bookings & Liability
The Venue is responsible for its availability, pricing, premises, staff, suppliers and delivery of the event. Any cancellations, refunds or disputes are between the Guest and Venue.
Clear Occasion is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, cancellation, service failure or other issue arising from the Venue or its services, except where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
6. Termination
Either party may terminate the partnership with 30 days’ written notice. Termination does not affect commission due for bookings already completed.
7. Confidentiality & Data
Both parties agree to keep non-public business and customer information confidential and comply with applicable UK data protection laws.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
